confession: i am a slow learner of new habits and prone to relapse. will resume blogging w/ regularity until it becomes habit again - promise.

hudson is sleeping thru the night, as are we! it feels so good to wake refreshed. he has been cooing and smiling a ton. he's a cute little nugget and so far, quite the laid back baby. we are grateful and in awe.

adda just got her 6th tooth. she has wild curls sprouting from her head in all directions. she's really starting to talk and between all the jibberish you can hear much that's recognizable. interesting the words she's choosing to say versus not. she'll say "bounce" and "gentle" but despite all coaxing, has yet to attempt please, thank you or her own name. she likes playing in h20 and dirt, bossing the dog around, wrestling, shaking baby powder all over everywhere, eating ice and being tossed in the air. she does not like corrections or cautionary tales however mild and even the gentlest delivery brings her to instant tears. she loves kissing her little brother and playing in her hippo pool. she hates having her diaper changed and is afraid of the drive thru car wash. she's getting to be quite mischievous - smearing lip gloss in the carpet and inside her ears, standing up in her high chair, digging scraps from the compost, and climbing inside the dishwasher. she keeps us laughing and on high alert.
