adda & hudson are sick. fevers and coughs out of nowhere have stolen nights of sleep and have made for not-so-fun days. hudson is pitiful - bleary eyed and wearing a blister on his thumb from so much sucking. adda, always dramatic, escalates to a level of neediness when sick that could wear out a full time staff. she spent her waking hour requesting ice packs for her knee (that she scraped 7 days ago) and claiming that her granola was burning her eyes. SIGH. gave them a long bubble bath and foot massages with essential oils. sometime while dual pedicures were drying, the mood started to lift. as we were blowing on 20 little toenails - hudson: "thank koo. toes pretty" adda: "mama i can't sit still anymore, my pink toes bored."
